Györ, 29 September 2006

I visited a friend in Bratislava, which is a wonderful place, if you want to explore several countries in one week as the Slovakian capital is only a stone throw away from Austria and Hungary and not so much further from Czech Republic.

So one morning my friend and I jumped on a bus to Hungary. Within 1.5 hours we reached the town Györ, where we intended to spend a wonderful sunny autumn day strolling through the roads, eating true Hungarian goulash and sitting lazily on the shore of one of the rivers. I was especially curious to see this town as one of my main customers had their plant here. Expecting to see industry I was positively surprised as came to a cosy town with pretty architecture and houses painted in friendly colours.
