Museum Eiderstedt
St. Peter-Ording 10 July 2010
The outdoor temperature of 28°C in the shadow with a definite lack of shadow made me visit the local museum. Apart from the pleasant atmosphere the museum turned out to be a little gem displaying beautiful old furniture, traditional costumes, china and a bit of local history and crafts of the Eiderstedt peninsula. I really enjoyed the hours I spend here and would like to share the impressions of this lovely place.

At the beginning of the 19th century this craddle was owned by the family Feers of the town Tönning. The father had been musician payed by the town. Between 1830 and 1840 his children were bedded in it. It's not known how many he had.
